 Hi Users,

Today we're very excited to announce QR Scanner and Maker has its biggest update. In the previous version, Some users complaint about the incompatibility to scan some QR codes especially the bigger QRs and QRs from the display. We were working on this since the first complaint.

Why does it's taken so long?

At the earlier stage, we try to find the bug in the codes, but the bug is like "Hey you, you will never find me. Try your best what can you do 😎". And guess what the bug is right we really can't find it 😅. What we got is only the footprints and some logs which really can't help us out to find the bug 🙁. After a month of hiding and seek with bug finally, we decide to put out the best weapon at work that's why it's taken too long for the new update.

Best Weapon

Our best weapon is to remove the whole scanning code which is the home of the bug. No home no more bug 😁. So after a month, we finally sit and decide to remake the app's scanning part and test it against user complaint QRs. After that, we decide that the bug has done its works by downing our app's reputation, now it's our responsibility to make it go up and provide our users the best user experience.

So we work again on the app to make it as fast as possible and tested it against many built-in scanners. After 3-4 months we achieve it and make it faster and better than the built-in scanner. But as we deleted the scanning part, causing the making part of the app to become unstable, we decided to remake it and remove the exchange between scanning and making part. After 5 months of working finally, we made it to work and it's now more stable than before. Now we are happy and satisfied to announce that making part has 7 new features check it out now on Play Store. And now it has a feature that will help you get rid of the Black and White style of QR by letting you change the background and foreground color of the generated QR code. Currently, it's premium because we need some money to add more features to it and maintain the App.

In the last two months, we do some code clean-up, make filters to filter out the common types of QRs, and make quick actions so that the user does not have to handle them manually.
